Pristine was born with the dream of a young couple to do something that would make a change to the health of this great nation. Raghu and Deepa met as colleagues in a food analytical laboratory in 1989. Their experience as food analysts naturally catapulted their orientation to food quality and food safety . Their initial years of work experience and their deep interest in understanding the role of nutrition in health, gained by abundant reading and related trainings, culminated in a deep desire to develop a micronutrient delivery system . They ventured into researching and developing food formulations and fortificants that would be holistic, nutritious, safe, healthy, and above all address the “hidden hunger” which is a much underrated malaise in our country .
